Assistant Technician

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Assistant Technicians are responsible for performing various tasks installing and maintaining irrigation systems as directed by the Technician.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Technician in processing and managing all assigned work orders as dispatched by the office including but not limited to irrigation system installation and maintenance.
• Monitor and maintain truck material inventory, tool inventory and yard inventory to support daily and upcoming projects.
• Perform tasks as needed to complete projects i.e. excavation, piping, setting heads, building valves, laying drip, operating equipment, troubleshooting and repair.
• General construction experience preferred.
• Being able to learn from Technician to be able to fill in for them in their absence.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to lift 50LBS
